Of Mice and Men Comparison Essay -- essays research papers

In the story, there are two strangely matched men, who travel next to each other and bolster each other with the objective of carrying on with the perfect life. In a universe of dejection and inconvenience, these characters, George and Lennie, discover comfort inside the nearness of one another. Another fellowship inside the story is among Candy and his pooch. In John Steinbeck’s novella, Of Mice and Men, the creator recommends that the kinships between the two arrangements of people have equal associations. By watching the characters’ position in the public arena, the importance of their relationship with each other, and the slaughtering of their buddy, we can presume that there are similitudes between the two associations.      Both sets of companions have their assigned situations in the public arena. George and Candy go about as the supporters in the relationship. Lennie and the canine, be that as it may, are needy upon their supporters to exist in the public eye.      ‘You know how the hands are, they simply come in and get their bunk and work  â â â â a month, and afterward they stop and go out alone. Never appear to care at all  â â â â about no one. It jus’ appears to be kinda interesting a cuckoo like him and a shrewd little  â â â â guy like you travelin’ together.’ (39) Lennie is minimized as the â€Å"cuckoo† character that is fairly unintelligent and futile.
